Pastor Steve and I walked 7 (7!!!) miles through ancient Athens visiting the Acropolis, ancient agora, Hadrien’s Library etc.
The ancient world humbles modern sensibilities. The Greeks built stunning monuments without electricity or modern machinery.
I felt the same way I did when i visited the pyramids of Giza in Cairo back in college.
Throughout our touring, Steve and I had lovely and deep conversations about life and ministry … and a nice lunch of lamb and fish as well along with some laughs.
Onto Jerusalem tomorrow. The Holy City beckons.
Great photos! Your trip is off to a good start!
Thanks!
